Web Crawler, Parser, Spider, Scraper Scripts In Python

This gig will deliver you a python script that will parse / crawl / scrape upto one html page. Also it is possible to have a script to convert CSV or similarly structured text based data sets from one form to another, or store in a database.

For web crawling beautifulsoup library will be used. This can be changed/ removed on your request.



This script can:

1. be uploaded to any host that supports python
2. be used with cron services to run periodically
3. be adapted to store the crawled data in a database
4. be adapter for Google Appengine
5. be used both online / offline

Additionally features like a REST API or a front end to access the crawled database can be implemented.
